Doom3 (yet again)

Should I get this game for Xbox? I like FPS, I own a few. But I don't have Doom3 in my collection. Do you think the game is good? Is it replayable? Is it scary? Should I not play it at 1 am in the morning. Please discuss the pros and cons of this game.

I went to gamespot and checked it out, but they always say nice things about games. lol. They say the graphics aren't as good as the PC (like I care) but is it really something I could waste some time into until my game comes out?

They had to strip the game down to put it on the Xbox. My advice, get it for the Pc, if your really want it. Truthfully, it isn't worth it for either platform, but the PC version is just plain better.

Because of the graphics? Or because they took entire elements out?
My PC can't run those types of games I'm afraid My comp is pretty old.
I dled the demo for the PC, I had to upgrade my graphics card software, put the absolute lowest settings on and I still couldn't play it.

The graphics he means. Cards were designed before hand with Doom in mind, it requires that much power. Xbox one is going to be alot less flashy.

Is it scary?

If u want scarry I can recommend u an older game that in my opinion is still the best, Undying, from EA games rules (it is a PC game, you don't need to have a powerful pc, just play it), it is the scariest game ever.
About doom in my opinion it has the same effects all the time, I mean the chambers are practiccaly the same, I saw only one scarry instance, when a zombie comes out from the middle of the stairs and that is all.
Also doom tries to make u scarry because there is not much light and u have to use that flash light, in my opinion that is very tiring.
If u don't believe me about Undying, just ask somebody who played it and finished it ofcourse.

The problem with Undying is thier is no multiplayer, since EA dropped support after the game failed.

Doom is a good game for the first half hour, then it becomes boring, and the only hting that carries you for the next half our is the Chainsaw, but even that gets slightly boring.

Doom is a good game it didnt take me that long at all to beat it really. It took me about 6 hours to beat, but yeah after the first 30 mins it got kinda boring.
