Doom III

OK, this game is wayy too freaky for me right now. Actually I'm really such a chicken, i quit after like 5 minutes because the athmosphere is so goddamn shocking. I am SO NOT BUYING this game. note: dont let this go off topic i.e. warez whatsoever. this is only intended for warez-less discussion. i mean i played like the first level, good thing those thing dont have artificial intelligence yet so i just mowed them down but they kept stending up which was really scary. besides the graphics are just about fantastic

Half Life 2 will own it. Atleast it has multiplayer though! I haven't played Doom3, I want to but i'll just wait till my friend rents/buys it for xbox.

the game is perfect, great atmosphere, the monsters are perfectly modelled and textured... the level design is also fantastic since there are always surprises...

However, Doom II is just as good, reminds you of the nostalgia of games of the past.....

what shocks me is the monsters in the trailer REALLY act like monsters. they are savage, and rip at you fast. its hard to explain, but holy damn, do not watch doom 3 trailers at 3 AM.

does anybody know wtf to do against those zombies. they keep standing up, when theyre shot down i give them like 20 shots in the head and the whole floor is getting red and theyre all looking like cheese but it doesnt help. :/

@korittke dont waste your ammo on the zombies when they are lying on the floor , when they are walking again , 3-4 shots in the head should be enough to kill them (they might stand up again) but after another wave of 4 shots int he head it should definately be over

and in the second level this nice guy on the right of your sigatar was invisible which made it kinda pointless. also at the end of the second level wtf is the code for the locked door. in this control type of room i kinda tried blowing up the comps but it didnt work. was only this fugly arm that i played soccer with on the floor.

i dont know the code either ... change maps with map e3/e3_3.map ... but i guess you know that ... hmm anyways .. that arm was fun ... altho, when you shoot on it, theres no blood :usad ....
