Doodad For Ash In Space?

I've noticed some maps including a doodad that was from ashworld but is in a different tileset such as space. It's kinda making me mad. Do you need SCM Toolkit? I can never get that to work and I'm too lazy to download Starcraft ver. 1.07 or whatever... If it doesn't require SCM Toolkit then I'd like to know how but if it does then just tell me. Thanks for all of the help in advance!

You can't place it with GUEdit, because you can only place tiles that are specific to the tileset.

The stonehenge doodad you're talking about is special, because it is sprite #0. DrunkenWrestler figured out how to make it with triggers, and I don't remember how he did it. It had something to do with the disable doodad state trigger. StarForge can place any sprite on the map and it will show up (even in melee games!)

Nice ava matrix :).

Disable the doodad state of the corresponding doodad on the space tileset, then re-enable, if you do it right, (im missing a step) and there's a lot of luck involved, then hopefully the doodad while change to a dif tileset (sprites are the same on all maps and correspond with each other, so in english, that sprite can be switched between one map v of it and another correspondingly)

you can disable a particular unit and it will show up i always forget witch one i was told once that if you create a indepndant command center and destroy it that doodad is in its place

So if you do the independant command center, then disab;e it and re-enable it then it will become that unit?

no i think it is if you kill the independant command center.

but some units will create that doodad when disabled i know i had scvs createing it but they would crash sc if you saw it directly.
attached is a map i was playing around with a while back

FIRST (that's part 1) YOU (that's YOU Y O U) TAKE (put your hand out and grasp with fingers) THE (the refers to the next word) MOUSE (the thingy connected the comp) ..........

ok mayb we shouldn't talk to a retarded person ;).

Some units when disabled and re-enabled (then killed) will do what the beacons do when you do that to them, leave something behind, in this case, disable and re-enable a independent cc, then kill it is what bolt was saying.. dunno if that'll work.

Omg do you need Zap Placer to make independant command center? I placed every single unit in X-tra Editor because it was making me angry that I couldnt find it. I NEVER DID!! Is scxe missing that?
