Okay, Hello everyone. Im used to these forum types so i know there will be people out there to flame me for my first post. I know there is a newbies only section but i need a expert advice. So i found it pointless to post in the newbie section with other noobs. I have played diablo on and off for about 2 and half years. Never had problems with the game, love the game n all. Well just recently i was playing, and ive been playing while my dude comes over and plays on his computer. We are using wirless internet so we both are on same ip. Causing realm downs if we go too fast in and out of games. Well my account i tried to get on today had given me this "Your account has been closed[8] Dont know what the 8 means and closed as in canceld? Or shutdown for awhile? I dont have anyidea why this a happened and i have already sent a email to support@blizzard.com any information on this topic please help. AGAIN dont flame, im just looking for help from people who ACTUALLY know. Thanks guys for takin the time to read this, and im happy to be a member to the forums. Take it easy.

Well gj for banning yourself because of a desperate attempt to us mh or any other hack, this problem is one i have not heard of before. But who knows i dont know of every signle problem out there. The number 8 could signafy an error number. On an old internet broswer i would use when ever it had an error it would give me a popup and a number on the bottom left corner. I told the number to tech support and they fixed my problem. Give us a photoscreen picture if you can, if you dont no how we can assist u in that manner as well, while dealing with issueses and errors visuals are quite nice. I doubt you are banned though, and it says closed, and some closed things can open in time or with the right key.

EDIT: You got banned. You GGed yourself by using a detectable mh. A word of advise. Uhhh well dik cuz i didnt get a mh for my d2 even after one came by so i guess dont use hacks after a patch that took 487634869034 years to make with a previous patch that had a clean chance of using hacks.

Tupac, Thank you for the response. I dont totally know how to get a picture screen for you to help assist the problem, but id like to find out. I send blizzard a email but havent got a response yet. Guessin the are slammed with them right now because of the mass ban. Yea it says My account has been closed. I just wish i could somehow get my account back. Havent used a mh program. What if Bnet trys to say i did tho? Whats there proof saying i used a program? If they give me that line of bullshit im gonna be pissed. Yes i know the game is free and all, but think about spending a bunch of time and gettin your account banned for "suspicion" of using a 3rd party program. I think it has something to do with me and him getting realm down all the time. Anymore help and advice would be great. If someone knows a number or website i can respond to that would also be great. thats how you do it. As for more help i can still be of service. i will edit this post soon with a phone i think exists that will allow you to "talk" withsome one about the game. I will also edit the post to link you on how to put pictures in ur sig(signature) or posts.

You all legal ****s should learn something. When you buy the game, you pay for a CD-Key, not for bnet. Battle.net is a free service, and as a free service they have the rights to **** you off whenever they want without you being able to do anything about it. Buy/steal/beg for a new CD-Key, make a new account and stop trying to recover the old one

Just for future reference, they don't tie IP's with accounts, they tie account names versus CD-key's. There isn't really a way to prove that you weren't using MH, but I would hope that they wouldn't ban you without a legitimate reason or it being a mistake. Hopefully that Email to the support team will do you some good. In any event though, the account they closed is probably gone for good though, sadly.

Wow. There really has been alot of bannings. And TheAce is right (as always ), and of course you can still play, just not online. Single player and LAN games should work just fine.
