Does MF change items stats?

I was wondering. if you have high mf and id an item will the stats be better than someone with low mf? or are the items predetermined no matter who picks them up?


I searched for this topic in all forums to no avail by the way.

probably not mf just works when u find the items

The item stats are predetermined when they are spawned. The stats show no sign of MF influence, so I'd have to say no
