Does conviction lower poison res

ok i read this guide and it says that conviction might lower poison res but i dont know for sure. I need to know if it does and how hard do you think it is going to be to play on open b.net without cheating getting all my items from diablo runs and stuff. No trading.

No, Conviction doesnt lower poison res.

Only Lower resist and facets / item with -x% enemy poison res can do it.

Lower resist can also remove poison immunities, if it has a sufficient level to do it (but not all immunities can be removed).

its stupid that only conviction and lower resist can take off immunities. i think that if you have enough facets and maybe a cold sorceress with max cold mast, it should take off cold immunity to people. then again that'd be uber
