I'll admit wc3 is a straight up better game. but no I don't play sc2 has me hooked. when wc4 comes out in 100 years with hero's and stuff I'll do a quick switch but wc3 is too old and too ugly.

Ahh what do ya think your old fellow Human player still wasting time with war3? WCG 2010 reminded me how cool war3 is and how battles in war3 are much more interesting. That's why I played some war3 recentlyas inspired by wcg 2010 and i still kick butts except for zotac. But other than that I quit wc3 in 2008 and I was just playing occasionally esp after SC2 beta had come.

Then launchers in Feb-March coz I didnt enter beta early and I needed to learn the game so Apri 18th got in beta and started - SC2 Beta Zotac, craftcups. Hell, in war3 I needed 3 years to play like that and play competitively, 3 years passed to learn in war3 what competitive gaming means here in SC2 I started it with my first games.

And you Pan and Theroy have learned, I believe, that whoever is good at war3 also becomes good in SC2. I mean, I know so many war3 players not only top players but that were just good - all of them in Diamond, it's like whoever was skilled in war3 gets in diamond in SC2. You know that.

So after beta here I am again SC2 my new game, Gg war3 even if I liked the micro game more. So many players I know from war3 are now playing SC2.

And whaturmuva you're asking if someone plays war3. When beta came, Zotac War3 that I follow all the time from 500 participants dropped down to under 250..SC2 zotac became the new mass played tour and look at Crafcups: 1,100 participants. Stunning result.

Theroy, so you're playing SC2 too, still hacking? I would prefer you tell me you start playing with skill, if you wanted to hack in war3 you had to do like Remind - that Korean elf you know? Either way, you know bnet 2 is very gay, we're still waiting for channels, war3 bnet so much better and better with levels determine more clearly than these leagues and Divisions. It's funny, because I think I'm much better at starcraft II right now than I was at Warcraft III close to when I was really good at WCIII.

Most Warcraft III players seem to prefer to one base all-in. Games rarely seem to go past 10 minutes when playing SCII. Which is good for me, because I'm such a beast in late game anything past midgame I'm pretty much a 100% win rate. Love playing against WCIII players.

How do you even know who's a SC and who's a war3 player unless like I once played vs someone who did 2 Hatcheries next to each other (apparently SC player). I know that was done in SC but he was so noob... gg on the 9th minute. It's general RTS skill here, if you are a pro war3 player you will beat a mid skill SC player for instance. Many top War3 Eu players are topping the SC2 ladders: naama, Naniwa, Kas, demuslim, lucifron, satinii and others... And they all learnt to make 5 expands+ so you can't generalize like that for war3 players even if in US war3 players are meh.

Pheonix glitch was fixed so it will never work again however if they didn't fix it I might've stayed with the game.
