Do you like the Favorite Diablo Poster Prizes?

At the last minute this evening, I suggested that we add items to the mix so that the award would be more ''Diablo II-ish'' for people who win it but aren't on the forums very much. Most of the items came from me, and Sweaty. I don't know about him, but every single item I dropped I MFed and found myself, the old fashioned way. No botting. So be thankful at least.

But what do you think? Could the list of items be improved? Why or why not?

Also, a chance to moderate Open Market is also included.

What do you think of the prizes? ^_^

yea... if i won (LOL) then i would be more likely to enjoy having moderation abilities more than the items; simply because i dont play east, i'd much rather give the account to cota or someone that plays east; but not because i am ungreatful, simply i odnt play east and those items arent going to make me start playing...

You are asking to give the forum your spare time to WORK...not much a prize in that. The only forum award mod prize that is actually a prize is The Void. Now THAT'S a forum worth modding.

open market isnt very hard to mod... arent most of the posts easy to moderate, other than the occasional "account sale" in which you void/close... or ones where you void due to lack of realm/core/ladder status

If you were void mod, you wouldn't be able to move things from other forums to the void, you would only be able to move stuff OUT of the void...which the contest states that if we catch you do that we will revoke your access. All you will be allowed to do is edit posts, sticky, and open/close threads. It's for fun, really.

the items mean nothing to me really, if i manage to win im making a thread of "who needs what" and then ill hand out everything to whoever needs it

as for the mod position, id consider it, but its not really appealing to me, just not somethin im after yaknow?

I'll be updating all the items that were donated and then putting them in a thread in this forum and stickying/closing it. That way it doesn't clog up the FA Prize Thread. And it can also give all you onlookers what you might get if you win or if one of your friends win and decided to be generous.

Well, the way we did it is we let the Staff Members of each gaming forum choose an award protraining to their game, I.E. SweatyOgre and Diablo II LoD. Then everyone else did theirs, and that sort of thing. So we had to center prizes for the Favorite Diablo Poster around diablo-related material for prizes. ^_^

Otherwise, we could be unoriginal and just hand you thirty dollars and tell you to skit.
