Do i need a merc for pindabot to work?

I dont use a merc weith Jedi it tries to hire everythime but i have no money and i dont really need a merc.
Do i ned 1 for the program to work?

no you dont need one....
keep deleting part of the jedi.ini until it works, dont worry about which part because most of the wording is extra anyways...
