okay, i need to reformat, so i have my 6 floppy's. and i need the xp disk (which i wasn't given when i bought my comp) so i restart press f12, select boot from disk and insert the 6 disk then insert the win xp?


btw how many disk is the winxp home ed. disk?

Uhh i think u need the XP disc wen u install it.

Ehm, you only need one boot floppy, Set in bios for your first boot record from floppy, It should recognise that. Do all the formatting/fdisking you need to do, then set in bios for the first boot device to the cdrom, and load it up

ok, i reboot it... i used to have like a local disk (c and some other drive, now its gone. (the other one) WTh HAPPEneD?
