k when i click tools > internet options i cant change my home page its like faded is this a virus or something? if u could help me that would be great

Not a virus, but spyware that clogs up your Internet Settings in the Registry.

Stupid Microsoft, why store crap in the Registry?

Run winipcfg, or cmd (Windows NT) or command (Windows 98) and then ipconfig.

hey I know of thhis awesome site called www.pcpitstop.com
if you take one of the free tests there then itll examine your computer and then itll give you a breakdown status of everything. itll also list all the spyware and tell you ways to remove them, I got rid of most of my spyware from there.
