This is the first time I've watched TV in months...
Clinton and Carter had pretty good speeches, but I think the best was by Kerry's former shipmate in the war. His speech was more pro-Kerry while the others struck me as more anti-Bush. However, Carter's speech has to be pretty valuable to his campaign too.
I found it kind of ironic though that a lot of speeches focused on Kerry's devotion to the country's security when he served in Vietnam, yet some were delivered by people who didn't even think Nam was crucial to US security. Clinton even went as far as to leave out any mention of Nam when he was discussing social divisions in the '60s.
Anyway, if anyone else saw coverage of it so far, what's your opinion?
