Disconnected with weird error...

I was playing my new sorceress and in the middle of playing, with no connection problems to warn me, I suddenly got a "Connection Lost". After it exited the server, I got the error message at the character screen, "Connection Restricted from this Realm. Please try again later."

This account is brand new, as I haven't played in months and months. I'd just been doing quests and leveling. I wasn't entering and leaving servers quickly or using any utilities or anything...

Damn...I've been "realm-down" for a long time.. its like 5 hours now.. its still restricted.. hrmm anyway around this?!?

I just lost every set item I was Xfering to that error... I am going to kill... you can't just up and replace tals and half of aldurs that you were stockpiling...

i just lost about 26 soj's worth of gear cause my game crashed (with me AND my friend in it) while i was muling. im now officially dirt poor again.

anyways, yes they changed hte realmdown label to "you have temporarrily been restricted from playing DiabloII on This realm. Please try connecting to a different realm or try again later" or something.

and yes theres a way aroudn it, restart your net (or whatever you want to do to change your IP)

If you are using 56k then just redial. There is a program of some sort that i used to use to change between 2 ip addresses..I forgot what it was called or where i got it.
I lost a kiteshield during my transfer.....

or you can make an account in uswest so you have something to do while you wait i have an account that i sometimes use but i usually just exit diablo and restart it(not the computer)

i have received this screen more than 5 times in one week but wat can u do about it......... just log out and try again later
