That the reason ghouls are undeads harvesters and not acolytes, is becuase the acolye model isn't suied to have them chucking at trees.

why?

because the initial game system had it where you did not harvest wood, only gold and what was hen rune stones (whose purpsoe has been lost since it was taken out) and wood harvesting was added because the popular demand for it from previous warcraft games.

The acolyte model would have been created before wood harvesting was implemented, and while peasents and peons could easily add little sticks to smack the trees, the acolytes are slim and weak, so add it to ghouls.

No I'm sure the fact that wisps dont even need to return wood to thier town hall was another way blizzard could give NE the freaking imbalance that NE seem to obtain in everypatch through ROC

NE brings 5 wood in with a worker that's the easiest to kill with there crappy base defence. Wisps use to be able to repair non mechanical units and not harvest gold bring that back.

wisps also privde NE players with early map scouting, and they cna stay on the trees all around the map for scouting. no other race has their works do that.

Wisps have no attack and gather wood slower. Of course they are good for scouting.. 60 gold.

they have no attack? wow I forgot that puts them at a disadvantage compared to acolytes that do what, 5 damage? oh noes

Did I say anything about which unit helps you more? No. I was just trying to say why wisps are good scouters and you expand on it by saying acolytes do 5 dmg. Acos>Wisps in a 1v1 battle. This thread has nothing to do with what unit I would rather have..

and because u know in the game of warcraft there is always 1v1 matchups against wisps and acolytes...

Yeah.. there are serious replays where there are battles that are decided by the number of acolytes and wisps on the battlefield.

I'd rather pay the extra 10 gold and not have my wisp die when he made a building. Hell aco's don't even need to stay with what they are building.... And can be massed in 3v3 and 4v4

I would love to have my necropolis able to move around, eat trees at no extra cost to heal, and be able to clear expansions for the most imbalanced fast expand.

Acos can gather gold from haunted mine that they can built for 3 or 4 times less time. They dont even need necropolis to gather gold away from the base.
