Just a fun little something that occurred to me during a slow workday. There's a lot left hanging, ya know. ;)

Family Ties: The Prime Evils are brothers, right? Ever wonder who Mom and Dad might have been? Or would you rather not? :shocked

Gettin' Hammered: Tyrael informs us that Izual, a mighty archangel, tried to attack the Hellforge and got captured and twisted into a demon's body for his pains. Yet a skinny Necromancer with a gaggle of skeletons in tow can sashay right up to it, kill the guy running it, and use it to bust Mephisto's Soulstone (and presumably Diablo's, later). Now, if you're an angel, arch or otherwise, how does that make you feel? Right. :lucifer

No doubt there are others...I'll let someone else have a go.

Tanith ;)

Izual was sent to the beyond when you killed him. That rules out your whole "Gettin' Hammered" point.

The prime evils are just that. Prime. Diablo, Satan, the Devil, whatever you call him, has never had parents. He's always just been a lifeform that always existed, as with his "brothers". That rules out your whole "Family Ties" point.

Sorry, I just like ruining your hope.

theres 2 lesser evils still roaming around if you read the story in the book that comes with d2, i forget the ones name, but the other is "baalil" or something (no. not baal.)

Balil and leviathan. Both of which appear in Nezeramontis, and are bosses after the prestiegous gauntlet level.

Anyways. Interesting, but doesn't work.

Wrong. It's Azmodan and Belial, not "Balil and Levithan."

Go read your lore, not just what some shitty mod tells you

Edit; Also, they arn't "roaming free" they're stuck in an eternal war against each other for control over hell and its forces.

You should check out the Diablo 3 section. All kinds of rumors, speculation, riddles, mysteries, etc like this in there. You'll love it.

That's why they are heroes and not average joes.
I wonder if after killing Hepfisto, did the necromancer crowd surf on his skellys as a sort of victory dance?

Regardless, you were still wrong. Yet you seem to not acknowledge that.

I always kinda wondered why Caim never took an apprentice... I mean, he's the only dude who knows anything about the ancient horadrim, or can read and understand the language, etc etc... I mean, a quill rat could take him out... I'd want to preserve that kind of knowlege personally...
