Diablo II Error

whenever i try to create or join a game... an error will pop up

maybe you dont have enough ram. post specs.

Sounds like theres a problem between your D2 client & the server your trying to access when you play Diablo.
Maybe contact blizzard and ask about:
DATA\GLOBAL\UI\Panel\inv_ring_amulet.dc6
Or... What i would do is probably block inv_ring_amulet.dc6 out by using a packet editor or if its more serious than it seems a more powerfull programme.
It sounds like an invisble ring amulet... Whatever that is..

sounds more like a corrupt/missing file to me.

Have you previously been able to join games?
Have you recently installed anything besides d2 itself which relates to d2?

yeah the file is crupt

thats a problem you get it sounds to me iv had it be for its a char problem i had its like you got an item that the game dont reconize its like i changed some thing about a sound efect and i run d2 off my hd and wen i use that efect it crashes d2 on me so id say you might have to do the un instal re instal ...i know i kinda speak jiberish some times i have a hard time explainen crap

this is totally clientside problem. dc6 is a image file stored in one of the mpq archives. as long as you didnt delet anything in your d2 folder like mpq's reinstall wont help (changed my mind). anyway you should post your specs, if you have only 32 mv ran and 10 other programs running in the background d2 cant load the image becaouse ram is full. you could also try shutting down all other processes.
