Diablo 2 Clans

Are they worth it? I was in one about a year ago that was disfunctional as hell, but we had duel tournys which was fun.

I dunno.. I never really saw the point of clans in D2. It's just nice to be able to transfer stuff/get free items, but if you dont need handouts, seems kinda pointless to me.

yea im in a clan. clans are good to xfer stuff and somtimes play with
you can get better deals on items from clan memebers and considering they are all rich that is nice im like 3rd best on ladder in our clan maybe 2nd.

ya when you are in a clan, it seems that you just skyrocket to being rich as hell.

but i hate to make all my characters with a clan tag like TAG_Aragorn or something

Clans can also be gay.

I was in a NM Duels game about a week ago with my lvl 42 upandcoming bone necro.

Needless to say, Clan Tag chars, both lvl 85 (FoHer and a Light Sentry Assassin) were TGing and corpse camping. They can ruin perfectly good games.

OT: Don't you hate it when you join low lvl dueling games and its all lvl 75+?

yea clans do kick ass but this 1 is ****ing hard to join you would have to talk to the leader but he is rarly on =/ and i dont want to give up the clan channel for every1 to see because the our channel will go to hell and i will be kicked out for being a complete retard

1. clans are retarded.
2. xfering items? dont trust someone just because they are in your clan. if you drop your botd on the floor, they're gonan think "which do i need more, this clan or a botd?". Im not in a clan, and have people to xfer with all the time. Just meet trustworthy people.

well you guys think what you want but the clan im in is awsome and its not just about xfering items and free stuff. you sometimes have clan tournaments if your clan isnt gay and having some friends that are on all the time to talk to because the game is hella boring when you got no friends on. =/

Go with a non clan char into dueling games for a couple of hours. Wait til you see a clan come in and then just throw up an FoHer and a trapper. Both charmed out and TGing. You'll see, or do you do it yourself?

well maybe other noob clans but not us we dont use gay ass chars to duel with were not panzees. and yes i understand why you have so much against clans, some pvp clans are shitty little ebayers that dont no how to play the game the right way and want to team up on some1 really good and **** them over with gayness (our clan is far from that)
