Detecting hardware

so for some reason Sony Vegas wont detect my camera anymore. no clue why. firewires hooked up n everything like i used to do but it doesnt work

Go to control panel and click add hardware. Maybe you can try system restore?

Check your hardware settings in control panel, and make sure there are no errors. If your getting an error post back with so we can go from there. If your not getting an error, you firewire could be on the fritz. Try replacing it with another, and see if that works. If not, than I would check with the manufacture of the camera.

went to add hardware..but i didnt detect my camera. everything said it was working tho

if it didnt detect your camera sound slike ur cable went out

when you plug my camera into my computer, the LCD screen goes blue, does your camera have any indicator that its connected to a computer? does it still do it if so?

if thats not the solution, reinstall drivers first and foremost, but it sounds like a faulty connection if its not even detecting hardware.
