Desktop too big for display.

Ok, my roommate's computer started having a weird problem when he updated his gfx drivers. his desktop became larger than his display, no matter what the resolution. he can always get to it, but windows will scroll over left or right. any ideas?

remove the drivers he installed and get something better lol
