Deleting access denied folders

i downloaded some folders, scanned them no trojan, no virus.... but it still wont let me delete these folders ( they were extracted folders if that matters) if you could tell me how to delete them that would be great

well most of the time these folders will remane undeleteable until 1. you close a program that is useing it 2. you restart your computer because the folder still thinks the program you deleted exists if that doesn't work then you should kick your computer and call it a peice of crap, doesn't help much but sure feels good

If you're using Windows 2000/XP, save all your files, run Task Manager, end the process explorer.exe, run cmd and type:

del path\folder

Then close cmd with exit, and run explorer again.

Be warned, if the file IS in use you could cause some serious damage to your system.
