I shouldn't even call them members. More like.. accounts wasting space. Who cares if CUK wants them, I don't! :D

CUK pays for the forums and therefore has more authority than anyone else here. If he tells us to do something, we obay =)

How much space does the server have? Gigabytes, Ryan.

Let them collect dust. It looks cool.

Accounts don't really take up that much space. Maybe we should start deleting them if they haven't posted in a really long time but still have them counted because they were members once.

While they do seem a hinderance, it is a little demoralising seeing the first page of the member list full of banned users and 0 posters.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Some people want certain names and they find it hard to get one they like. Some accounts are just spam accounts, one post and that's it. What happens when we run out of names?

doesnt really matter-yes it does make the forums seem bigger, but doesnt having a lot of members take up a lot of the site "memory" maybe lagging the pages a little in here? just a thought...
what i mean is the site "memory" are will be so chok-full of names that it might somehow take up a bit TOO much space and slow down time in the forums whith trying to keep in tact with so many accounts? think of a comp-u have a lot of useless junk (inactive forum members) and u wanna play, say, starcraft (the battle forums) but the computer lags (slow time in battle forums) because of too much used space that doesnt even have reason for being there in the first place. get what im saying?

Then we would lose lots and lots or people.....

There may be some who just signed up to download attachments, ignoring posting.

Im not that hater of newbs but Ryan has point. The forums as a whole are active due to a smaller part of the members. (about 30% out of the~56 thousands we have).

Actually you know that some may not be in Bfs for 5 months but when summer comes they start to be active everyday.Do you think we should close their accounts? Thats why we should give them 2 months in summer to close accounts , not now during our school year.
