This is sort of the latest trend against bruters on Starcraft / D2. What you do is, take the account you want to defend (Illy or whatever) onto Diablo 2. Diablo 2 offers the option of registering an account to your email. If you do this, and your name gets jacked, you can use your email to take it back.
Of course, if you accidently let your email be known publicly, the bruter could just brute your email as well .
So, if you want a proper defense other than just a complex password, use the register trick =P.
