He may not be the smartest poster on the forums but he has been here longer. Just because he is a wee bit new to the posting jig of things doesnt mean we gotta go calling each other names.

ignoring the fighting going on above, i prefer more of the dark metal-there is a dif between dark metal and death metal. death metal is bands like opeth and korn who are all about 100% bang-ur-head-until-it-disconnects-from-your-spinal-cord heavy metal.
dark metal is about "atmosphere"-like listen to "lepers among us" and "progenies of the great apocolypse" by dimmu borgir-also the 80's band like def leppard had the "atmosphere" thing goin on, but necessarily "metal". sevendust's song "enemy" has atmosphere.
atmosphere in music is kinda hard to explain...
