Dath Pact ability that targets Living

I'm working on a map (big suprise) and I want to base a spell on the Death Pact ability, BUT I also want it to target more than undead units. Is this possible? I sure can't figure out how.

If not, can you think of any other ability I can base it on that also kills the target unit to give the caster mana and/or hp? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as searching hasn't resulted in any help at all.

Im not sure if my idea is right but, in object editor under death pact look for this (it's in alphabetical order)

Level 1 - stats - targets allowed

When you find it, add living. If it doesn't work, im stumped.

Nope, that doesn't work. I ended up making the same thing with triggers instead. Tedious, but at least it works.

Hmm, let's see what we can do... If u did it right u should have turned out with something like this....

Events- Unit begins casting ability
Conditions- Abilisting being cast is equal to death pact
Actions- Change targeted units mana (%) or life (%) to 50%

then i think u said u figured out how to let it target other races...

doesn't it already target living? but only hurts it? like I believe lvl 1 (I THINK!) it gives undead 200 health and does 200 dmg to living units
