Damn patch doesnt work

Hi

Im having sum probs installing the 1.10 patch onto my LoD.

Its starts and then the message comes=
-------------------> attached file

I've tried everything

I've uninstalled d2, deleted the folder and killed it from the sys reg, but the message still keeps coming.

Dunno whats wrong because it used to work.:scary

are you using a patch you dled from the bliz website or from bnet?

I've tried 3 different patches. The ones from the b'net, the one on indiablo.de and the one on the blizz ws. Every single one the error comes.

Sounds to me that your disc's are scratched or smth, use some car wax on them and see if that fix's your problem. If it doesnt, and nothing anyone else has to say fix's it, you will have to buy new disc's

hmm, ok, i dont think i'll try smearing car wax on my cd's......either the cd's are then broken or the wax'll melt in my drive and then i'd be so pisd i think i'd kill sum1 -.-

can i use the cd's from my friend but use my cd key? does that work or is there only 1 specific cd key 4 1 specific key?

lol....you need more experience with car wax, go buy some turtle wax, you basicly polish the cd, which is accually a really fine sanding job, and takes off the top layer, it doesnt add onto the top, which "takes away the scratches", but it accually takes off the top layer. It will not melt in your cd drive, lol...... Ask a1steaksauce, i believe it is him that i told to do it and it worked as well, this is what i do with all of my games, music, and xbox cd's when they get scratched, i am not a moron,after all, im a mod. Yes you can use your friends cd's with your keys.

hehe i just tried that with my rct2 disc and i can play it now and it smells good

Its the pc.....tried with 3 different sets of cd's and all of them either the sum check of my D2commom.dll file was wrong or my D2client.dll file -.- Damnit......Im going to format the pc and check if it works then. I'll write if that works

Dude......Ive been reinstalling it since this thread started.......sorry that i didnt post that but its kinda logical isnt it!
