D2's new Detection.

Ok so does d2 or bnet have a new system to detect hacks? Is it called the warden system? How does it work?

i dont know much about it since ive given up diablo in 1.11...

but ill give u waht i know:

1. yes, they do have a new anti hack detection.
2. i believe thats wut it is, could be wrong though, not htat name matters much
3. something along the lines of detecting the dll's that are connected to the diabloII.exe, along with auto updating (or is it easy update) allowing for overnight updates and insta bans.

I am so glad i downloaded easymap, because of that maphack blizzard owned my a$$ and thank f---en god. 1.11 even with the keys and stuff was just getting so bloody boring and its only been out 4-5 weeks now. Like watching nas-car... round and f---ing round. Also i have to lmfao at all the cry babies in here. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i got banned. As everyone here is saying, blame yourselves. I would NEVER have quit if i didnt get banned. TYVM Blizzard.

It probably checks any abnormal functions running with the program. If it leads to a maphack program, they will know about it. Many people rushed to get easymap, and got a bannage stamp right on the skull.

The only maphack protocol that was undetectable was Mousepad. However, this was back in 1.1 and also wasn't put to the test against the new detection system.

For everyone out there, don't bother using Easy Map. You will lose everything over this program.

Actually it searches the DLLs and memory as well as packets.

Even if i do get banned for no reason im set cuz i got a second cd-key for d2 and LoD but im screwed if i get my acct banned>< i got a 51 pally and 88 sorc with godly gear and LOADED with sojs. like a couple 20-30

I believe they could easily detect mousepad's maphack because I think it works the same way as easymap (only with different files, of course).
