D2hackit / Shopbot

Hello all,

I'm rather new to the idea of using mods. I've been searching for directions and reliable links to working versions of D2hackit and ShopBot.

I only need to shop 1 vendor at a time, but I'm tired of doing it manually.

I downloaded d2hackit, but the readme and directions are either missing or they assume you know how to do it.

I've searched a few forums looking for a good write up on what needs to be done to use those programs, what files need to go in the D2 directory, and which ones can be left out in their own directories.

Is d2loader required to run D2hackit?

Is there another BOT like d2jsp or any of the others that will shop? might it be better to use those?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

put d2hackit and mods in the same folder. run d2. join a game. alt tab out and run the loader.exe. to load a module type ".load modules name" without the quotes. typing .help can also be of use.

if you have a .exe with your hackit it's dirty..... hackit doesn't have an exe...

you can either use d2hackit as a d2loader plugin or use the standalone version which has a loader.exe and doesn't need d2loader to run

does it mean that if i download the d2hackit and put it in my d2loader plugin folder it will work?

Oh, thanks for telling me CM I actually didn't know that. iroq, I would get the d2hackit PLUGIN, which you put in your plugin folder and have it run with d2loader.

where can i download the d2hackit plugin? i only see d2hackit but not the plugin
