I'm pretty sure I searched the board well...if not, I apologize. If there are other threads pertaining to this specific problem, a link to that thread would be greatly appreciated.

So far, the only problem I ever had with PindleBot was not with the script, or the bot, or anything, but with Diablo 2 itself.

I'm thinking this may be resolved by one of these two suggestions already stated in the forum:

Change the Failedgamestorestart to =1 and take away the ;. (mentioned in the official D2jsp General Help section of the forum)

Or increase the Delay to create the game.

Here is the problem I have. When going to create a game, I never have to worry about lines, or anything like that. But the entire game will freeze. I can't alt-tab, ctrl-alt-del, or alt-F4 or anything. It freezes at the Create screen with the game name and pass still up and the Create button depressed. It will stay there for anywhere from one minute to 5 minutes before it will go to the Waiting in line screen.

I'm looking for confirmation on whether or not either or both of those solutions up there are the fix...or if someone could post the solution for this specific problem. If you have a solution on how to fix the actual problem instead of bypassing it with delays and failedgamestorestarts...I would appreciate that even more. I have defragged, restarted, reinstalled D2, reformatted my drive and all of that.

Thanks in advance.

Which version of D2jsp are you using? And you're using Pwnage Pindle, right? If you're using v1.32 or above, and you're using Pwnage, then try increasing your dcreategame time. I havent had this exact problem, but that may help. Hopefully some of the mods can give you better advice. :\

im guessing you tried changing some of the game create times... if not then its your computer that sucks. i do occactionally get this problem you are referring to when i run 4 bots.. but thats it bcuz of the lag.

does it do this all the time? or do you get some runs completed, because if this is the case, have it restart diablo every half hour so that it wont get stuck like this for more than a half hour!

you can change this in d2jsploader.ini

PC based computer:

Intel Pentium 4 1300 mhz
640 MB ram
Windows Me OS (possible to be the problem hehe)

Back when I used the bot the first time, I believe I had the loader, yes.

I am only running one bot, and one window of D2.

I get this problem like...1 out of every 5 games I create or so...but that's a rough average...

hmm.. i have a 256 mb ram , 1.2 ghz amd athlon processor with windows ME and run 3 bots with little problems..

if i were you i'd reinstall diablo2 -- and if that doesnt work then try running d2jsp with no extra programs running.. but that shouldnt be a problem.. i'm running 3 pindlebots as i type and my specs are lower than yours..

are you on 56k? if so that could be the problem, and to fix it raise "dcreategame" delay -- when your comp is done stalling -- d2jsp wont kill your d2 window if your delay is high enough

I've already tried the reinstall.

The stall still happens even if all I do on my comp is watch the bot do it's thing.

Changing the Dcreatetime worked, but I still wish I could get to the root of the problem.

I'm running on DSL.

Thanks everyone for their replies...
