D2 Loader question

I downloaded d2 loader off of ladderhall.com but it didn't work i noticed the icon for it is for diablo 2 does it only work for the original and not the expension?

also i moved all the things that the d2 loader directory said i should move (including the unessisary ones) and the game looks like its starting little timer comes up and starts spinning then it stops and!...nothing happince no starting view of game or anything...and the d2 directory was the place that originaly held game.exe right before i replaced it with game.exe (the d2 loader)

yea ive heard about edit but have you heard about the snewbs that browse forums not answering any questions but flaming people? They are really anioing.
