D2 Color Text - With No Program

eh I dunno if this has ever been posted in this forum but eh whatever I'll tell you it anyway. If it's already been posted don't kill me. But if you don't know there is a way to add color to d2 chatroom text WITHOUT using a program. This thread will show you how and stuff. It's not that hard.

My friend on battle.net told me about this technique it is really easy to use. You either need Starcraft or a Bot that works (stealth bot works and so does zds). First in Starcraft or your Bot do the following alt command:

alt + 1 5 2

Then you will get a following character

This cannot be done in Diablo 2 if you try the alt command it will not appear for no apparent reason. After you type the funny y symbol with 2 dots over it type C. Your screen should know display:

After doing this type a number ranging from 1-10. Each number represents a different color. These are the codes:

1 - Red
2 - Green
3 - Blue
4 - Gold
5 - Gray
6 - Black
7 - White
8 - Orange
9 - Yellow

So if you typed the yC1hi then hi would appear in red just replace the y with the funny symbol. Replace the number with one of the numbers above for an effect.

I have yet to find out if there is a purple color. Bots spam with it, and when you click the gem is makes a purple color. I have no idea if you can and if anyone has any information PM me thx!

Sometimes through Starcraft you can get a funny error such as:

I beleive this happens because of the Starcraft 1.10 Patch. It DID work before that and I am not sure if it works now but it does work for some people. Try it out. If it doesn't work through Starcraft I KNOW for a fact that it does work through a bot (i tried stealth which can be found at http://stealthbot.vze.com). Any questions you can just ask me. Also PM me if you found out how to get purple text.

The error you speak off is simply charater map! You can get any characters on SC, just get the combination from Character map.
It's located in your Accesories:System Tools Folder.

why sticky this lol? its related to starcraft/bots, it doesnt work for diablo, there already are colorhacks, no need for this, it only works in diablo 2 bnet profile and there it only works using ctrl+c/v, and that part is already included in the faq sticky.

Well i guess the bots spoof a packet to the server and this makes him printing colored text in the chat channel. That is also the reason that the use of collor bot can mute or ban your cd key.

well i dont know if everyone downloaded that bot from those url u have posted. i dont claim that all stealth bots include a trojan , but those froum ur url do . the reason that no one might have lost an account so far is that such people often wait some weeks after they post it on a forum so the address will spread
