Otay. Heres how you do it:

Get an image and make the dimension divisible by 16. (16,32,48, etc) dont make it too big and save it as a .jpg. You'll have to use Wally (srry i dont have link for d/l) In wally go to Wizard>>HL Color Decal. Open the picture you saved. Then save the image as tempdecal.wad, templdecal.wad, and pldecal.wad in your cstrike folder. worked for me and it should for you. If you need it in more detail just talk to me on AIM (speedyclaxtonBF)

DAMN IT it says texture is to large. width * Height must be at least or equal to 10752.......and every time i choost the clip board 1 it says no pic in the click board even after i copy it..........


oh btw i found wally 1.55b.... is that good?

I use wally to make sprays. It works well. You can also use it to browse pak files, which contain most HL things such as sounds and textures.

Ok give some more details i can help to, tell me exactly WHAT you need help with

1 making the spray
2 saving the spray
3 making it a .wad file
4 you did everything right but it wont showup
5 where do you save it

when you make a spray with a program (ex photoshop), you goto file>new. and it will ask you the width and length of the image, you make it divisible by 16 (if you dont know what that means ill tell you, but unless your 5 you have no excuse) this means like, 16, 32, 48 etc, like 16x2=32, 16x3=48. GET IT?! make the length and width divisible by 16, when you get that, itll give you a blank white image you can customize to w/e you want, get decal converter or wally and make it a wad file, save it to (default):
C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/your@e-mail.com/counter-strike/cstrike

then after the pldecal.wad is saved into your cstrike folder, your....not done, rename it to: tempdecal.wad or tempdecal, restart steam, join a server that allows custom sprays (it never says just try a few before you see it work.) good luck, if you dont get shame on you, thats step by step dude!!!

Look at my link (to my other post). You can get an oversized (or not properly sized image and resize it in the decal converter program. You can also click max next to width/length and it will make each of them the biggest they can be w/o going over the limits.

I dunno what the deal is with Darkzero190. I made the .wad files for him, he just copied them to his directory, but they still didnt work.

He even ran the program, and said it didn't work.

Darkzero190, are you sure you put them in the
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamAPPS\email\counter-strike\cstrike folder, and not C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\Cstrike folder, or somethign like that.
