Now, i've made game with computers but they dont mine. How can i make the mine? Also, i have a poll to see how many people actually make DECENT games(i've tried, but only against comp, which isn't working out.

edit: yup he means making a map. at first I thought about "computers mining" meaning his computer, not computer players mining stuff.

Yeah, that was silly of me. I ment maps. Sorry about the confusion.

You need to use the AI script for it I thought i remember seeing it but when i looked i couldn't find it

Are you making melee or ums maps? If you make it melee, they will automatically run an ai script.

If it's ums, you must "run ai script at location" on the copm/

Thanks. I guess thats what i wanted to know. I was using 'use map setings' instead of melee.

if u wanna make more complex UMS maps u need to get a better editor...
i don't have 1 and can't get one cause of my mac (GOD DAMN IT) so ask some1 else for a link.

dude seph wtf are u talkin about, you can make EXCELLANT maps with the regular starcraft editor. like I said in my long ass post in the RPG thread, the best map I have ever played, Winterglades, was made on staredit. other editors allow you to do extra things, but you don't need shiat to make a good map. if you think otherwise then try playing that map. just cause everyone uses enhanced (not better) editors, including myself, doesn't mean you can't make good maps without them.

'Eh, the Winterglades is an OK level and all, but you get hurt real fast and the shapeshifter shit blows. Anyways, its a decent game considering some1 with reg. made it. I now have about 55 new rpg/ums/defense stuff

that's my favorite game evah, lol. probably a main reason being I despise bad mapmakers (nearly all of them out there), and the person who made that map is clearly a very good one, due to balancing and story and stuff. that game is just damned out fun to play, and it is not as pointless as the other ones. also just about one of the longest games, that and Smash TV. I have a good version of that if you want it btw, lol

it's totally true, you can only make COMPLEX maps using the spec editros because they let you place anywhere and all those things that open up all boundarys to map making.
