Cubing small charms

Thought I seen a thread on this here somewhere but for the life of me I can't find it. Searched too.

It was saying that you could take a lvlxx small charm put it in the cube with some p gems and reroll the mods.

What I want to know is what lvl charm you need to roll a 7%mf or 290 poison, how many pgems you need, and if you need to stick a rune in with this.

Umm... I don't think you can do this in just Vanilla LoD...
On some modifications its possible.

the cube recipe for rolling magical blue items, including non-unique charms, is 3 perfect gems (perfect skulls work too) and the item. no runes or jewels in the recipe.

potential stats available to the item depend on the source. lots of people prefer to get small charms from hell baal or nihlathak, since the item level will be very high and capable of receiving best pootential stats.
