I cant get the ****ing thing to work. Don't tell me i wasted 60 bucks.

Don't tell me to get a new computer because i run UT2k4 on full graphics.

it wont load....

dont say uninstall/download/repatch because ive done that three times and i dont want to wait another hour and a half to do it again.

what do you mean it wont load.... does it get stuck at a certain spot or something?

the game takes like 10 seconds to load for me, it shows the background graphics and then the menu shows up like 8-10 seconds later... its becuase its precaching all the information becuase its a big game.

honestly i dont know my specs besides i have a Radeon 9800 and 512 RAM. :-/

what i mean it won't load is that the screen turns black after the "preparing to play counterstrike: Source" thingy is done loading.......then my computer crashes and then shit hits fans randomly.

He said he had a 9800...and I will bet you 20 bucks I can play it on my GeForce 2, so getting a new card sounds rather pointless...

dude, if my POS geforce 4 can run DOOM3, then you can run CS:Source unless you have a crappy prossesor!

My geforce 2 can run Doom3...you guys really need to realize that our hardware is about 5 years ahead of our software...

You're probably running to many applications at once. Go into processes and end any you don't need.

More then likely your getting one of the well known crashes. Try going to steampowered.com forums and look at the stickys/search there.
