During the first round of play the pause box always pops up on myscreen and i cant do anything and i get these messages in console and i have to end up reconnecting to the server

Netchannel: failed reading message svc_TempEntities from
Netchannel: failed reading message svc_ClassInfo from
Netchannel: failed reading message svc_UpdateStringTable from

from whatever the server ip is I am in at the time, so far it happens in every server i go in...

The other error i get is a memory error which is:

the instruction at "0x2417a02b" referenced memory at "0x00e62ed0". The memory could not be "read"

The last error i get is this:

getdynamicbaseline: findstringindex(11) failed

This closes my cs but doesnt happen too often

I have no clue whats wrong, ive updated the firmware for my router, updated my drivers, tried reinstalling etc... the most common error is the first one, not being able to play first rounds is very annoying especially when it comes to not being able to do clan matches because of it... if anyone can help it woul dbe great!

switch routers

I used to get the netchannel failed errors, too. CS would play fine, but when a new map loaded, I was able to play about a minute until the game would start freezing-up / lagging. If I looked at the console, it was being spammed with a ton of netchannel failed messages. That was when I had a Linksys router.

I switched to a Motorola wireless router, and lo and behold, no more netchannel errors. My Counter-Strike: Source has played error-free ever since.
