Well, I got a new render style in C4D this weekend, tried a bit more on the brushwork. Comments appreciated

The renders a little rough around some edges though...

make sure all your objects are thrown into hypernurbs...that will get rid of edges....and make sure A-A is on best...not geometry, if you want, to if your pc can handle, turn on radiosity or caustics

PS: that matrix extrude in the middle is neat...i used to use that all the time, but then i got tired of it =D

...try realism. Abstract stuff is kind of fun to make and it's usually appealing even if it's bad, but creating realistic images is a lot more fun.

Anyway, it looks all right Tweak from what I can see. My modem's being a bitch right now.

NURBs..... That bad? I see Polygon renders smoother.

And your anti-aliasing sucks for such a nice piece of work. Crap thing is that that render may have taken ages. Now you have to do it again.

thats usually true...ive modeled tons of crap in cinema such as cinema displays, game boys, ipods and other crap...and those were the most fun, and the most difficult at the same time
