Creating Whites

Hello all, first off, I want to say that I am a newie at creating items. I have Jamella, and the Hex Creator, and Shadowmaster. I change the item in Jamella, then change the color in HEX, but when I try to open my chara in Shadowmaster, it diplays an error that forces me to shut down. I can not open my chara. PLEASE HELP!!! Just wondering, do I need the expansion pacl to do this?
