i typically get a mix of footies and rifles on this one cuz casters die too easily but then again footies are weak and rifles die against grunts.

grunapult is grunts+ catapults right?? If so mass air would totally own them...D-hawks + gryphons. Or u can out number their grunts with ur footies(only 135 piece) and add some rifle men. And if possible a few sorcs just for slow(2-3 easy to be microed)

ya keep in mind that this is tier 2 atm so i guess arch mage with mass hawks and some footies thrown in would work.

no go for mass hawks + rifles + like 3~4 footies and some priest, with hawks u shackle any air that they might make, rifles kill grunts, priests heal, footies tank, and i guess add in sorc later for slow.

No first the reason why the footies dies so fast are that you dont upgrade them-use defend in tier 2 make 3 spellbreakers instead of footmen, some sorceress and 1st AM 2nd MK thunderclap aim some units at the catapults or attack directly from teir back

woo darkmage u got some pointers there, but u'll have footies anyways from tier 1, are u gonna jus waste them? (IMO u should make spellbreakers later, since they cost bit gold) also, like bishop said, air units! :D

I fiend that gryphs counter pretty much anything an orc can do, except raiders. It counters tauren/shas PERFECTLY, tauren/walkers even better, air well as they are far superior to wyverns, and grunapult, its not even a fight.

It may work even better, grunts and catapults are owned by air,you can get hawks quickly but for gryphs and gyros bombs you need tier3 so they can have gruntapult much faster then you get tier3

to counter early I'd just mass foots, but then again thats what i'd do against anything early on.
