Could win XP affect my botting?

I currently have windows ME on my botting computer, it works perfectly, bots nicely and I have over 1800+ runs done. However my new computer arrived and it has win XP, is this going to affect anything? I need input from people with experience in this area please. Thanks in advance!!

It'll sometimes affect me... XP likes to control your PC :\

I'll leave my bot running on my "name" and when my brother or sister wants to get on, the internet 50% of the time disconnects, so then diablo gets all out of shape and won't restart until diablo shuts down, or it might just stop botting... If you're the only one using your PC, it should run smooth.

in my opinion YES , I have had Windows 98 Since i had my pc .
when i had 98 i could Run pindlebot , Msn , Kazaa ... pretty much every thing at once... now that i got XP if i run Pindle and Kazaa diablo LAgs to the full!
but if u just leave pindle on and nothing else if should be fine.

I run Diablo II, IPB, Kazaa, (MSN is complete crap and I refuse to run it), Internet exploroer, Office, Unreal Tournament, countless other games and my computer runs just fine. No problems at all.
I have a P3-800 with 384MB Ram. And I am running Windows XP.

I don't know why yall are having problems but Im sure you can work out the bugs. Its not because you have XP tho.

Anyone that uses Win98/ME needs to be slapped. They crash so often it isn't funny. XP r teh pwnz.

Well, I dont plan on anything that extream. Maybe just d2 and the bot.. I dont have to worry about someone else logging onto my computer because it'll be in my room and networked to my own dsl connection, also lagg shouldnt be a problem its 2.0 ghz with 512 ram
