I was in cows today and someones stuff goes all over the place and everyone took his things. How does that happen anyways? Don't you have to have like a full inventory or something for that to happen?
Body Popping happens when you go to get your body after you've died and equip almost everything; leaving 1 or 2 items on your body and the rest on your living character. If someone kills you at that particular moment, when you haven't equipped everything, then you POP! Everything you're wearing falls to the ground, while greedy vultures snatch it up. Very often other people will try to pop you by throwing by your body a lot of small requirement items like axe, sword, armor, on the ground, and if you accidentally click on one of those, while running to your body, you will equip that particular armor, without realizing it. So, when it comes time for you to click on your body, you will equip everything from your corpse BUT the armor, and your character will say "I cant wear that". At that point, the popper will try to kill you, so everything that you equipped (that is but the armor) will fall for him to take. This situation usually happens in public games, when guarding is involved, and people rush to get their bodies without noticing few vultures like that.
Thus to avoid getting popped you should:
Not play public games. Stay within your friendly circle.
Make sure you have enough strength/dexterity to wear all of your items (if you carry extra +to strength/dexterity charms in your inventory - never move them!
When retrieving your body, don't rush, and watch for those items on the floor.
If you did happen to equip some armor before reequipping the corpse items back on your body, and you hear say "I can't wear that", EXIT immediately with Escape/Save.
