while playing D2 i have encountered some problems with my RAM or CPU... not sure wich, maybe my vid card or my sound card... but i have getting really bad frame rates and everyonce in a while.. im not sure what my computer is doing.. but d2 totally stops loading frames.. and my HDD 'spinning' light comes on... for some reason i think that it is looking for free RAM or CPU usage. this has also happened while using winamp with visualization studio in full screen mode, this has never happened before until recently. im rather confused on why this is happening.. maybe i have some corrupted driver or somthing.. but if you could help me.. that would be great...

system specs...

Type "msconfig" in Start Menu > Run, then click the "Startup" Tab, and uncheck all the stuff you don't want to open when you boot up. May free up some RAM.

can you explain why sometimes when im just doin anything in my computer, it will just stop and the HDD spining light comes on. however, i think it is trying to access RAM, becuase when i use a program to free up my RAM, it is doing the same thing. i know that its not using the program to automatically free up RAM, because it would do this before i got my free-up RAM program

Format HD

Get rid of the usless logins, if you don't use the Admin log on disable it for security reasons, same thing goes for guest accounts.

Press Alt+Cntrl+Delete and end task anything that isn't required to run but those programs.
