It's part of the website probably. My windows error/crash pretty consistently on Battleforums, they freeze often aswell, and always take forever to load assumign they don't do one of the previous two - I'm assuming from ads since on the low left corner of window I can see all sorts of ad webpages trying to load. It has been a pretty significant handicap on my desire to even browse Ad-Forums.

Send in your question to your security provider or find someone nearby who can properly assess your problem.

Did you try different web browsers? Or did they all return that error message.

I surf BF (well the staff section mostly now) with Opera and have Avast's On-Access Scanner as my "ResidentShield" and I get nothing of the sort.

It could also be the version of the Virus database. Sometimes they misdefine a "virus" or program when it rarely does anything harmful. It did with PSO:BB's loader (thought it was a Trojan Horse) and did it with one version of Winamp.

But if thats the case, you will have to wait until AVG sends another update.

If thats the case, then either do the following:

1) Clear out your cookies for Google Chrome. It may fry the file.
2) Wait until AVG sends another Virus Definition and see if the problem persists.
3) Nuke it anyways, it seems to be a useless javascript file from my end.

does anything like this come up for anyone else
I used to work for AVG, was smth like tech Support. But I suppose since ur 24/7 at the PC the emails that we got were from really dumb people, those who would mistake a keyboard with a mouse.

I had a virus Win32 which is from those who attack all your exe files, starting firstly with the system32 ones, then games and other exe-s. After format and reinstalling several times, on one of the times AVG detected some font hidden deep in the windows folders and when it quarantined it, some programs stopped working.

My point is - you can delete such files like that in the image but 1) if AVG detects some windows files as viruses like font or similar in system32/......./x86 folder, you may wanna heal them not delete or quarantine cause some programs and games use specific files within windows folders 2) if you get more and more infected programs or games that generally are no way to be viruses, AVG can't help with win32 viruses. I can't trust others and don't have license, but I would change that anti-virus. AVG IS at least is imo very good at blocking viruses on websites.

PS This PC that I use with the net uses another anti-virus, it doesn't detect anything here as a virus /I noticed another asks about viruses here).
