Cloaked Bunkers and Cannons...

ive been working on The Realm RPG series and im wanting an area called 'Fire Field' (name may change, not sure) with bunkers at 35% HP and cloaked and another area called 'Fire Lake' with cannons at 5% HP and cloaked.

ive looked at several maps ive seen the cloaked bunkers in and have tried to duplicate the effect with NO luck. any help would be perfect! like what player they must belong to, the triggers needed, etc...

there are 6 human players, 1 comp for towns, and the other comp for enemies.

Okey doke i got to go fast since i got to leave in 5 minutes for class, here i go.

First make all the cannons and bunkers owned by the "town computer"
Use the "set doodad state" action and disable them all seperatly, (differant locations)
Make sure that a human player has a detector there that can see each one, that remains there for about a second, If you don't they will not cloke.

Mmm i type faster than i thought. . . Good luck.

the town comp is allied to all human players with shared vision, i would guess this would effect it, so i should use the enemy comp instead, yes?

Ya. you wouldn't want the comp to have shared vision with you or you would see it cloked. Instead of just seeing the blur. Just make sure you make the buildings invincable.

YAY!

ok, placing observers in the map, have it wait 1500 milliseconds, then take them out makes it work! the bunkers are cloaked and the resulting 'fire only' effect is sweet!

however! its not cloaking the cannons!!! grrr...!

i found out how to make them be powered/able to fire without being near a pylon by enabling the doodad state, but when i disable it, nothing happens!

what am i doing wrong? or are the cannons unable to be cloaked?

both the bunkers and cannons belong to player 8 (enemy comp) and yes, all the bunkers and cannons i want to apply this to are invincible.

the same as the bunkers, but they aint cloakin! does it make a difference if they are on water? i need the blue fire of the protoss buildings for Fire Lake!

Players:
Player 8
Conditions:
Always
Actions:
Disable doodad state for Terran Bunker at CB1 for Player 8 (works, cloaks the bunker)
Disable doodad state for Protoss Photon Cannon at CC1 for Player 8 (does NOT work, does NOT cloak the cannon)
Disable doodad state for Zerg Creep Colony at CCC1 for Player 8 (does NOT work, CRASHES the game)

will this work with a Pylon? will this work with any other zerg 2x2 building?

i really want the blue fire of the protoss buildings for Fire Lake! if zerg buildings can be cloaked i want to have Bloody Fields!

All cloakable units are in the sticky.

If you're still having problems, make sure when you disable the bunker, you disable terran bunker, don't get lazy and disable it as a cannon (won't work).

OK! I finnaly took the advice of CrookedFoot and read the bloody sticky!

I got the bunker to cloak on my second try, so i dont need help with that part!

I fiannly got the cannon to cloak, see attached map to see what I did.

I do have one question tho... I noticed that there were no zerg buildings on that cloak list... why? because of it causing the game to crash?
