Classic Players on Expansion

Last night I came across a trash talking person who recently got on expansion from classic. He hostiled me, and I proceeded to kill each and every one of his chars. On all three of his accounts. Note: I only used my light sorc.

Naj's helm, belt. Lidless, occy. Two magic rings, cast rate amulet. Frosties.

Basically crap. Why does it seem that nothing from classic can really compete with expansion items? And isn't classic more "skill" based, not item based? Because they still get synargies...

well items first off are a no brainer. even the "crappy" LOD items are worlds ahead of classic. its just a step up in item classes....normal>excep>elite.

more items, more options = superior (i still have fun with classic rares)

then from that you have all the possible combinations and builds that go along with those items that you couldn't effeciently maximize without being LOD.



Hell, they do not even have allthe same skill/stat quest rewards that LOD chars have. Thats pretty big too.

Yeah. But the thing that bugs me is that he did nothing but trash talk both me, and expansion. If he insulted expansion in a dignified manner... I would have no problem with it...

wait so hmm i have never played classic online really. but so when you play classic and switch to expansion all the items come with you to expansion? (noob question)
but i started playing expansion online and i played classic offline when i didnt have internet.

Yes, they do. But, in expansion, most of the items are worthless.
