Clan Portal of Darkness Mod

I was thinking of making a mod for warcraft 3, as a clan project. It would of course be called Clan PD Mod, and it could feature a whole new race added to the game. With its own set of heros and units. The units could be named after memebers of the clan, and the heros would be named after the people in the top 3 positions in the clan. If those top positions changed we would release an updated version of the mod. I personally don't know computer programming, but I am reading books on it. So if we all started working together we could get it done eventually. Even if none of us have computer programming experience. The nice thing with mods though is that it doesn't involve hardcore physics, or AI programming. And we WON'T need to learn calculus or anything like that cause blizzard has it done for us. Im just trying to see whos interested, tell me what y'all think.

Can we make this for the actuall 3 Best Players. Not Including the Clan leaders? Just the 3 Best Actuall War3 Players in the clan?(If Waturmova or Vegeta were very good War3 Players Then you can make mods for them) And O ya that reminds me, I want to face you again for enforcer. I got better.

flesh rippers idea

That sounds like a good idea flesh, we need to have a clan tourney to see who the best players are. Top 3 players will become the heros. Anyone who wants to arrange this is welcome too. Also if any of you know someone who is a good webmaster can you talk to him about helping us setup a clan website. Our site is not bad but still isnt proffesional qaulity. I think if we want to be respected by other mod makers and clans we need a professional looking site. I know someone who knows some webmaster techniques, but he is already helping me on the strategy site, and for free. So i dont want to push my luck with him, because we are not friends but just aqauintances. Also i plan to start a work file, it will be a wordpad .txt file, this is to make sure everyone can read what is on it. If you guys have ideas for story elements and characters let me know. i like this whole idea and i owuldn't mind mkaing a map my self since u can do it on world editor, and also there is a kid at my school who is an internet genius and myight help, but he is greedy and would ask my for like 3 bux, but ill give it to him. yet still he will eb to vusy making his own websites, or atleast he usually is

new clan site

If we are making a new clan site everyone needs to get together and start producing some new content for the site. Fleshripper has done an okay job so far, but he can only do so much alone so i urge everyone to start helping him out. Unfortunatly I personnally cannot help because I am going to redo the clan site to make it look better, so all my free time (aside from bnet) will be spent on that. As for the mod I am going to talk to the webmaster www.campaigncreations.com and see if he can give some pointers on making a new mod for war 3. In the mean time everyone please start to think of some characters for the mod, thier names personality background etc. I have started to make a pilot game script myself, but not everyone will feel that it best represents out clan. The workfile i started should be out shortly.
