Don't you need to protect it in one episode or protect his base...or something. >.<;

Tis been awhile.
Naw that is only one mission, which is repeated in Yuri, but as the Soviets as you are sent to destroy it.

No last mission to my recollection is a simple destroy the soviets, which is done with the Weather machine, the chronosphere and a lot of tanks.

The last mission is painfully easy thanks due to crappy base design. it's possible to beat it without the need of the Chronosphere, the Weather machine or basically any tank/armor weapon.

What to do:
First off if you arn't quick enough, then when you build your base build your war factory in the top left, away from all your other buildings. When the Soviets launch nukes your war factory is awlays targeted first. Then all you need to do is set up some prism towers at your entrances and make sure you don't lose any of the oil derricks. Next build the Spy Satellite, that is needed. With that out of the way, build as many chrono Legionnaire as possible. They are built at your barracks, and require a battle Lab. Once you have like 4-6 of them, grab 4 and teleport them to the bottom left of the main base of the Sovets. two should be teleported to the far right side with the two nuclear power plants. There is enough room where the Tesla coil will not touch them, and if placed right the Apocalypse tank won't move to intercept them. even if it does, it will only get off around 3 shots, which will put one Legionnaire into red. Thats it. Once you have your Legionnaire in the soviet base, proceed to wipe out the four power plants on the bottom, and the two on the far right side of the map. With them out of the way, the Nuke and Iron Curtain are disabled, and so are all the automated defense. From here its a simple matter of removing the couple buildings around the Kremlin for an easy win.

Par time is around 2 hours, you can get it done in around 30 minutes

Is it where you attack the Kremlin?

To use the Chronosphere, group a bunch of mech units together and click ont hem with the chronosphere skill selected. A whirling blue electrical storm will form. Click on another area and all the units will teleport to that location. Up to 6 units can be moved.

The Kremlin mission is all about bulding placement, how well you can stall tanks during the Iron Curtian time and how smart you are to deal with nukes and Kirovs.

Also, you should try to destroy one of the outlying bases and the 2 Nuclear REactors on the right side before engaging the enemy. Prism Tanks/Legionaires with support from the GI drop and Rocketeers should be able to get you the win.

Also, the AI will nuke your War Factory above all things. Make sure tehre are NO units nearby. Cancel all your war factory units before the nuke hits to save up the money.

As Pan said, that mission is incredibly easy.

I used chrono legionnaries, instead. I uesd them to take out their nuclear reactors. When they attack, the enemy isn't alerted to the attack except for units in the vicinity. Its quicker and efficient. After that, kill them off as I see fit.

Yeah, but you would need an army of like 30-40 to erase everything around the Kremlin. It only take a few Sentry Gun turret shots to kill one and apocs would insta-kill them.

Prism Tanks practically win the war for you. If you also bring repair ifvs, rocketeers and legionnaires.

Naw, becuase the Apocs dont attack once the legionnare hits them once, and with the design of the base you only ever have to encounter one at a time. Sentry guns and coils become useless the minute you take out the nuclear reactors, because there are few guards around them. Trust me it's an awesome/cheap method.

Yeah, but Sentry Guns carry thier own power supply. Also, legionnaires need to be like right next to the base before they warp in. You would need to issue fast commands to a large number of units to erase the defnse grid.

The legionnaire is vulnerable during its phasing stage.

but once you're in the base, it takes no time to move from place to place. Also, nothing attacks once a legionarie has hit it, so the sentry guns, which arn't placed painfully together don't attack at all. With power gone all tesla coils are gone, and the 6-8 legionares can take out any apoc tanks. It's a quick/easy win.

Yeah, it pretty much is. For safe measures, I flush the apocs out away from the Sentries and just erase them from there.

I don't think you understand. I said use them to take out the nuclear reactors, then clean up shop with everything else.

First capture the two nuclear reactors at the eastern part of the map. Then build a barracks. Make your legionnaires from there then take out the other nuclear reactors.

Almost forgot you can get access to Yuri Prime by send a spy into the soviet battle lab, then capturing their barracks.
I use the mind control units(psi commandos plus Yuri Prime) to mind the 4 elite apoc tanks and have them do the rest.

How cool is that.

I actually did that once. However, I mostly did the work with Prism/IFV/Legionnaires. Of course I understood what you said.

Hell, the 2 reactors of the east side of the map are the easiest to take.

Once you got those. You can setup a small defense there and you wouldnt need Power Plants for the rest of the mission.

I mostly defended my base with units anyways. I just backed them away from the War Factory if I was gonna get nuked.
