Ive found many charms in cows, but i seem to find most in places like the arcane sanctuary or when baal running, but cows has the most charm droppings, I just wonder where they hide all their loot, you kill a cow and they drop like 5 items and you wonder why they dont use it...

charm drop is random... as is every other item in diablo, ther eis no "certain place"

just find an area with enemies that have the ablilty to drop items with X level

X level being the item level you are after.

Cows usually provides me with a sturdy charm drop. They might have changed it but from what I remember cows were good for charm. I'm moving this to Strategies & Tactics.

I think Pindleskin has the highest drop rate for skill gc's, but I may be mistaken. As DragnSkull said it's according to the lvl of the item. Skill gc's are around lvl 50-60 I think so pretty much any boss in hell can drop them. Whoever you have the best luck with I suppose. :)

Go on Baal for ilvl90 Charms.

I think cow drops ilvl88 or something....

Baal is your best bet for charms IMO, even if you get crappy ones, just reroll in cube.

As the charms are random drops, the cows make the most sense. There's plenty of them so your chances rise and I do find the most GCs there.

Also, cows seem to drop flawless gems a lot. So take those flawless and make p gems to re-roll those GCs.

I also agree that baal drops the higher level GCs, but since cows can drop the skill GC, I feel do them both. Maybe you'll get lucky and Baal 'll drop something else that's sweet.

Do both Cowies and Baal.

Found most skil-gc's in arcane this season (20x) so 2 benefits: Keys + SGC

It's important to note here that not all gc's can be rerolled into skillers, as a general rule the higher the iLvL of the charm the better success you are going to have, as well as the better the charm. While it is possible to take a shadow gc found in nightmare cows and re-roll it into a pally combat it would be much more likely to reroll a +1 mf gc from baal into a pally combat first. Part of it is a little luck while the rest lies in the iLvL of the charm.

As the nightmare skiller just had enough iLvL to make a skiller it will be a much lower chance of rerolling something desirable than the "crappy" mega high iLvL charm that baal dropped

There may be a chart somewhere which shows the breakpoints at what iLvL a given charm can receive a given mod, however I don't recall seeing one. If anyone knows where such an item is a link would be much appreciated.
