Change the main d2 key(s)

Can u somehow change your cdkey in the storm.dll?
that is where u cdkey is stored rigth?

guess its stored in the regedit of windows
u can search by diablo2 or blizzard
or download progs in the net that do the changes by themselves, just keep an eye open 4 viruses/trojans..

nope ... both are wrong .. its stored in the mpqs .. dunno which ones tho ... i'll edit the post as soon as i know which ones ...

no, you have to use the cdkeyrefiller and set the d2paths to the 2 corresponding mpqs ... i'm pretty sure one of the is stored in d2sfx.mpq but anyways... i g2g to bed now ... its late ... i'll post here tomorrow

method 2: auto refill cdkey, set 1 cdkey(game default)
edit auto-cdkey.reg, set:
"d2cdkeympq"="d2sfx.mpq"
"d2xcdkeympq"="d2char.mpq"
also set "d2cdkey" and "d2xcdkey" to the cdkey you want.
then import the registry file again and start refiller.
to refill both cdkeys.

If you want to change your cdkey just re-install D2. Or I think someone made a cdkey changer for D2 awhile back, not sure, use google.

slippy, i wouldnt have thought that you'd make such a stupid post ... why reinstall when you can use refiller to change ? and never recommend google as a site to find d2hacks ... 90% trojans guarranteed...
