So, Just came back from my grandmother's house and it appears my cousin was dieing to play Diablo II Expansion although he had an error.

He installed both games.

When he pushed Play D2 Expansion it would load then say that the cd was not in the tray...

He uninstalled and re-intsalled the game multiple times although it never worked.

Any suggestions?

This is a BIG problem on linux, so I'm assuming it's a problem on windows as well for some people. If you are running windows XP, I'd right click the Diablo II.exe icon, go to properties, advanced (I think..I'm doing this from memory)..and change the emulation settings to windows 2000. This does indeed work for some people.

Also: Is he using a burnt CD? If so, it will rarely ever load the game.

It is also worth noting that certian types of copy protection on games have serious issues with multiple CD Drives. If you have multiple drives, Try editing the registry to have the game look at your other cd drive, install from your other drive, or disable the other drive when you want to play.
