Cd-key's...

Hi, my brother uninstalled D2(on purpose, he knew i played it, hes an asshole) and since I cant find my LoD CD I figured doing a system restore would work, well it got back everything it seems like, but whenever i double click Diablo II.exe(d2loader) nothing at all happens, so since i have the game, but it dont work, i figured i can grab the cd-key form it then reinstall it, but when i use onlyer's showcdkey.exe it just shows as not found for everyhting. Is it possible uninstalling removes cd key from even system restore? or maybe is there some way i can manually try to find my cd key for LoD?

make sure the showcdkey.exe is in your diablo folder. If not try searching for your LoD and diablo cds some more.

yea its in the D2 directory, still says all "not found"...

i do have the regular D2 cd's/cd-key's but wat im missing is LoD.. :frustrate

this sucks, no other way i could find out the cd-key u think?

you could of just put d2talk d2video d2music in ur d2 directory and played it with no cd.

thats what ive did the whole time, cause i have no real copy of LoD, i had a burnt copy that i installed from, but u cant play from that... what i need to do is reinstall the game, i could just download the LoD, but i know know what my cd key is...

and i do still have the game on my computer because i did a system restore when it got uninstalled, but it just doesnt work at all
